Jazz String Theory

A Fine Jazz Ensemble

Jazz String Theory: a string quartet in a jazz band. An unusual union that wants to create a unique sound, that of chamber jazz.
Our repertoire focuses on a specific period: that of New York in the sixties. Herbie Hancock, McCoy Tyner, Wayne Shorter, Oliver Nelson are the composers we have chosen for their harmonic and stylistic research.

Our research also goes south of the USA. In fact, we also performed the New Tango. The Tango of Astor Piazzolla and his school with our original arrangements.
